Our Academy School is accredited by the British Council and the Independent Schools Inspectorate. Academic courses are available for students aged 14+ and our in-house University Placement Service. This involves trained counsellors being available in school to advise and guide your child on the suitability and best access route to a wide range of undergraduate degree courses available at the best universities in the UK and the rest of the world.

INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION PROGRAMME

hese are an alternative to A-Levels and allow international students to choose from a range of different pathways to prepare them for study at a range of top UK universities. International Foundation Programmes are full-time courses designed to prepare international students for direct entry to most British Universities. These include members of the prestigious Russell Group such as Bath, Birmingham, Bristol, Durham, King’s College, Manchester, Nottingham, Queen Mary, Sheffield, Southampton and York. The programmes are usually delivered over one year commencing at the beginning of each September. However, most of the pathways can also be undertaken over 18 months or two years for those students who would suit a slower pace or have not completed the right level of education in their home country. The International Foundation Programmes are accredited by NCFE 15 hours per week of English lessons are provided at our city centre private school by our qualified tutors. Upon arrival all English language students receive an individual Needs Analysis interview to assist the English language trainers to identify the individual needs and wants of each student. This interview also gives vital information to allow the trainer to assess the student’s specific strengths and weaknesses when speaking and listening.

English Language Program.

Non-native English Speakers are guided towards IELT/Cambridge PET, FCE or CAE examinations

Native English Speakers who wish to continue British Education system higher Education qualifications

We recommend that students interested in A-Level’s should consider studying no more than 2 subjects during the school year given the nature of the football development program and the time available for study. Subjects available for study are Accounting,Business Studies, Economics, English, English Literature, French, Geography, Law, Maths & Mechanics, Maths & Statistics, Psychology and Pure Mathematics.
